Starcraft II Beta Keys Up To 400 Dollars

It’s been nearly 12 years since the release of the original Starcraft game and it’s still going stronger than ever.

According to Kotaku, about 4 days ago, 300 dollars was around the amount required to get a Starcraft II beta key.

As of right now, asking price has gone up.

It’s amazing to think how a franchise, and a company, can keep it together and STILL create quality products and games that fans foam at the mouth to even HEAR about after so many years. Let’s face it, nobody is going to pay close to even 100 dollars to be in the next Call of Duty beta. I don’t care how popular it thinks it is right now.

Just think how Blizzard has been able to create these franchises and have them ALL be such amazing hits that they can wait 12 years to put out another version. Diablo III is in the same boat. Starcraft and Diablo are still wildly played today and these new installments will further cement Blizzard’s hold over PC gaming. Let’s face it, if it wasn’t for Blizzard, PC gaming would have died out with the exception of Farmville.
