Splinter Cell: Conviction Freezes on Xbox 360s (UPDATE)

We can’t say we didn’t warn you, but it looks like Ubisoft’s latest addition to the Splinter Cell franchise is having freezing issues amongst certain players on the Xbox 360. Turns out that, when played with an Xbox Live connection, the game will occasionally freeze.

Ubisoft is working on a fix, but for now, a workaround exists. Simply clear you cache, and restart you Xbox without connecting to Xbox Live, and you’re good to go.

Update

A fix is live, and it requires no effort from the user. Simply play the game like normal.

  1. Well the simple fix to this is don't sign into LIVE and everything is good to go. But kudos to Ubisoft on getting a fix to this problem.
