Now, before you go on, yes, the title is a reference to adult actress Laurie Rose’ pseudonym. I really couldn’t think of anything better. I apologize in advance.
Another week (and an extra day or so…), and another Hard Mode episode. When we last left Phot, he had just made it through Mt. Moon, and had just laid his good friend Chadwarden to rest. But things were looking up for Phot, as the downhill portion of Mt. Moon is not nearly as hard. However, Misty should provide a solid challenge.
And we jump right in, Phot takes care of a few trainers in the gym, earning valuable experience, and before you know it…
KiM has evolved into a Pidgeotto.
After a quick visit to your friendly neighborhood Pokemon Center to heal up, Phot takes on Misty, the leader of the Cerulean City gym.
Phot sends out Morte to meet the first challenger, Misty’s Staryu. Morte clearly has the advantage here.
One hit later, and Staryu’s down. Starmie gets a shot off, but Morte survives and counter’s back heard, another super-effective hit takes Starmie down hard.
And just like that, Morte is level 20.
Misty graciously coughs up the Cascade Badge, symbolizing Phot’s victory over the questionably dressed gym leader.
After another trip to the Pokemon Center, Phot’s ready to take on his hated rival, Sidcrzy. Phot’s greatest asset is his four pokemon to Sidcrzy’s three.
Well…uh…pretty even matchup here, actually. Phot’s KiM does have both the advantage of being a slightly higher level and having a slightly cooler name. Slightly.
Sidcrzy’s Pidgeotto simply can’t hold on against the mighty KiM, barely taking down half of KiM’s health before falling.
And, 9 hit points later, the enemy Rattata has also fallen victim to KiM’s mighty attacks.
Knowing that Charmander’s too strong to take down before KiM’s health would run out, Phot chooses to pull him in favor of Xenu.
Xenu, surprisingly, puts of a very close fight, whittling Charmander’s health down bit by bit.
Finally, Xenu proves to be too much, and Charmander falls, leaving Sidcrzy with just one pokemon left. So who did he choose to pull clean up duty? What heavy hitter has he been holding on to the entire fight?
Oh…
Well, Phot sends out Dillion, giving Xenu a break in favor of the rookie.
And Dillion makes quick work of the fairly worthless Abra, knocking out the pokemon without taking a hit, regardless of the 5 level difference.
And how does rival Sidcrzy respond to his downfall? Does he admit defeat, or come back with a witty retort?
Oh…
Well, that’s all for this week. Hope you enjoyed episode three of Pokemon Hard Mode. Check back in next Saturday[citation needed] for episode four of Hard Mode.

Yay Phot!
Men don't care cause they chew their underwear. The underwear they chew cost a dollar ninety-two. I would know im a doctor.
I don't even know how to respond to that.
The response is: “The men go ’round with their ding dongs hanging down over there!”
