Codemystics.com presents Halo 2600 by Ed Fries. A familiar big franchise nowadays by Microsoft & Bungie goes back to the 80′s when they weren’t around but feels like it when you play this game. All thanks to Ed Fries, a former Microsoft VP of Game Publishing Division, who brought this game to old school version himself. Even when you play this Atari version of ‘Halo 2600′, it still has the feel of any traditional ‘Halo’ game.
The game is ‘Halo 2600′. It debuted at the Classic Gaming Expo this weekend where lucky fans who attended & were lucky enough in the drawings to be awarded with the Atari 2600 cartridge game of ‘Halo 2600′. But thanks to Codemystics.com, you can play the game on your keyboard right now for free! You can play it here.
A simple, straightforward game where you use the arrow keys to move around and tap the space bar to shoot. Lives shown on the bottom left screen and the enemies pop up on the bluish background where you kill them or avoid them and see how far you can get. Simple, easy and fun. Enjoy!
