Shenmue II has far less meaning if you haven't played shenmue 1. This piss poor marketing is why the second game failed to make money. IF Sega wants Shenmue III to turn a profit I believe they MUST release the first two games in full for their target console. If they try to catch up new viewers with another movie, the game will flop.
