I didn't have the problem with being around people. I get anxiety attacks when ever I get close to a group of people. People say I should hang out with people in public and be social but that's not really a option for me. I can easily get sick when I'm in public due to my immune system. I have rejected several invitations from friends to do something in public. I can't really get a job either due to my condition, unless it's at home job. *rants*

Well it's better than being a brain dead, I had a 78% chance being that for the rest of my life.

One of the best radiation doctor's in the country could of fried my brain and nerves system. I had abnormal increase of rads than the normal person could handle.

do you feel radiation when they're doing it? i honestly don't know how it's done. all i know is it makes you sicker than hell.

Actually for me yes, It felt like my skin was tingling. However people with normal therapy shouldn't feel anything since they use little rads and their procedure is only 15 minutes a day, where my procedure was 2 hours a day and 3 times more rads than the common sick person. I had to do this 5 days a week for 6 weeks straight.

I meant to say "Why did you have radiation therapy?"

cancer was inoperable since it was in my neck, there was too many major nervs. So they had to shrink it.

Eze, you know you're mah boi and all, so forgive me for taking this horribly off topic for a moment, but do they still use rads as a measurement for radiation? I thought everyone moved on to grays now.

Hm. confession thread? Ok.

I'm socially awkward. I don't know what to say in a group of people, and I always end up standing around, saying nothing.

it depends on the machine I think, The one I had to go was one of the two machines that's in this country.

Maybe. It might have just been based on amount too. I think 1 rad equals 10 grays or something like that.

I haven't really study anything about radiology. The only thing I do know that radiologists have more school than a normal doctor. I know my radiation doctor has a lot of praise in the medical world.

That's good. I imagine radiology must be a difficult field.
