Upon opening my newest edition of Nintendo power I stumbled upon an upcoming article about Need for Speed Nitro. I personally love the NFS series and I'm excited about the newest edition. According to Nintendo power the setting is in Rio de Janerio where a young poor youth strives to become the top racer! In NFS Nitro you use drifting to gain boosts to help you through the races. Along side other racers are of course cops! They are every where so it seems. Starting out of course you do your typical Need for Speed thing, choose a car, pick the color, and graphic designs. You can achieve power ups such as ones that will allow you to repair your car during the race to keep it going and ones that lower the police radar. There are several new cities and several new tracks as well as more multiplayer options including a new one called Eliminator. NFS Nitro is due out November 16th on Wii and Nintendo DS. :)

Well that means that Nitro is not Shift.
And NFS has gone downhill since Most Wanted, they pulled a pro skater.

I still stay loyal to it. Its really the only racing series I like besides Mario kart.

I would have to agree. The avoiding cops and 'leveling' up to say of your car gets very old.

I really liked Grid and I can't wait to check out Fuel on Tuesday.
Everyone likes PGR, though, I just never got into it.
Grid was great because it was a return to the basics while still being fresh and fun.

Burnout has to be my favorite in terms of realistic racers.

I never cared for Gran Turismo, it was so realistic that it was boring.
