From an article I read, this past week it seems Cave Story for the virtual console was playable at E3. From the sounds of it, it translates well with wii-mote controls and looks better than the PC version.

Sorry Frank, I couldn't find the damn article. They must have taken it down.

yes, the main draw of Cave Story on Wiiware is that it has updated graphics and the possibility of DLC.

but wiimote controls sound so simple(in my head). NES style, d-pad for movement, 1 to shoot, 2 to jump, B for inventory, A for map, +/- to cycle through weapons.

yeah, mal. even if the game was a full 2000 points, it would still be worth it. it's such a beautifully crafted game.
