Well now... We all sort of know this is true, but how long until it becomes obsolete?
When the next gen of consoles come out.

PC gaming is not dead, just more attention is being drawn to consoles.
Pretty much, if blizzard doesn't make it, its not going to be as successful.

I guess in some ways PC gaming could be thought of as dying, but you have to look at things like the Free online games like Flyff, Maplestory, Rapelez, Gunz, gunbound, you would be suprised, they have a huge fanbase (Myself included <3 Flyff) so in a way yes PC gaming is a dying way of playing but not completely.

You guys DO realize people predicted over 10 years ago that PC gaming would be obsolete 5 years ago...yet there is a World Wide Invitational for professional gamers that happens and grows exponentially every year for PC games...WoW continues to sell games much to the envy of the entire gaming world...Steam continues to make ridiculous amounts of money...and the casual PC gaming market probably hasn't reached its peak yet.
So yeah...until I really see proof, PC gaming isn't going anywhere.

I think the decline in the variety and amount of PC games is primarily due to MMORPG's. So much replayability there that you don't need to buy new games.

For example, WoW.
