it's gross. but its good.
it's a zombie book about people trying to survive after everyone turned to zombies and the different things they gotta deal with while they're looking for a place where they won't have to worry about the zombies as much and they can start over in life and make new rules and whatnot cuz the governments gone, too.
i thought it was pretty different because usually in a zombie movie, it's about the people trying to make live through to the next day like Night of the Living Dead or Return of the Living Dead. Or like Resident Evil (which in my opinion, eventually turned into an Alice movie more than a Resident Evil it's self) where people survive... but it's all about Alice so you only see them trying to get from point A to B without a whole lot of background history of the characters (unless you played the game) and that unexpected love thing with Alice and what's-his-face in the 3rd movie. Dawn of the Dead (both versions) kinda stick to this idea but even then, it's just like "k... they're in a mall... they're surrounded by zombies.......they SHOP!!" It's good and a liiiiittle more in depth than that... but not a lot of creativity put into it but it's still one of my favorites (the original one).
But Anyways. So this is good cuz it's just like a "what if it actually happened?" scenario. It's about 50/50 on survival and human nature.

How did I miss this thread?
I LOVE this series! Right now I'm just buying the huge collections of it, though. I really like the writing in it.

The Resident Evil movies were loosely based off of the games, but with minor tweaks to canon, it was included.

The first half was good, but by the time they got to the mansion, the movie just lost its meaning/point.
