Being blind in one eye and a premature baby, I had a hard time with hand-eye coordination and dexterity when I was a kid. To help, my mom bought me a nintendo. Now, I have the best dexterity out of anyone I know and have excellent hand eye-coordination. The doctors I intern with are always very impressed by my aptitude and think I will make an excellent surgeon. All because of nintendo. ^_^

At the age of 4, I was introduced to the NES. I would sit in my dad's lap and play Legend of Zelda. I beat Aquamentus and was happy as shit. One Christmas, I got Tetris 2 and myself and both my parents played the hell out of it. We even forgot some presents because of it! Today, my dad and my sister both have a DS, which they play regularly. My mom plays nothing but Dr. Mario and Tetris, good old original Tetris. We're a family of gamers.
All because of nintendo. ^_^

When I was younger the only time me and my mom got along was playing Nintendo. Now she is teaching the 3rd generation gamers in my family :)

I really don't agree with that, I think Nintendo is more responsible for making home consoles more prevalent than what they were pre-1985. Which is fine, in order for Nintendo to be responsible for every game we have today they would have to be the first gaming company in the industry and that's not true.

Gunpei Yokoi created Kid Icarus, Metroid, and the Game Boy

Did you know Gunpei Yokoi invented the crossbar? He was also one of the developers for the original Mr. Game and Watch handhelds back in the early 80's. Gunpei Yokoi did something even more important than Miyamoto.

We still see Bill Gates the same way though. He bought the program off of some guy for 50,000 and marketed it right and became huge. But he's still the reason so many people have computers.

I didn't know Bill Gates had the power to control the entire market of selling PC's to the masses.
